Louisiana Boys State 2012 was held at Northwestern State University on June 24th through June 30th, 2012. We had a wonderful year and for the first time, we had a hearing impaired young man attend. His name is Joshua Castille, from Lafayette High, and he won the Governor’s Title!
Joshua is a super young man. We had an interpreter to assist him while at Boys State. He was also one of the boys chosen to be interviewed for Boys Nation. The two boys chosen were Joshua Smoak from Caddo Magnet High in Shreveport and Brandon Dale Frilot from Lafayette High in Lafayette. Our Samsung winner was Bradley N. Bark from Baton Rouge High in Baton Rouge.
