American Legion Department Commander Herbie Petit 'swore' in members of District 7's James O. Hall, Post 19 Jennings on July 3, 2012.  Following the short Officer Installation meeting and meal, Commander Petit and his wife Linda were invited on a tour of the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home. Warehouse Supervisor Darrell and Associate Administrator Sam Doucet escorted and briefed Commander Petit and his wife on various aspects of the Home as well as meeting resident Veterans and employees.
