Officers for American Legion Nicholson Post 38 and Auxiliary Unit 38 were installed on August 4, 2008. Post Officers are Commander Oliver Markland; 1st Vice Commander John Dedon; 2nd Vice Commander Mike Milano; 3rd Vice Commander Guy Lato; Chaplain Herman Scallan; Sergeant-at-Arms Ron Snow; Board Members Cleve LeBlanc, Bubbie Messina, Joe DiVencenti; Color Guards Rufus Price, Nick Bravata. Department Commander Archie Boyette led the Installation.
Auxiliary Officers are President Cathy Hughes; 1st Vice President Virgie Germany; 2nd Vice President Pat Badeau; Secretary Dixie Guitreau; Treasurer Dolores Williams; Historian Carrie Gautreau; Sergeant-at-Arms Mary DeLaun; Executive Committee Marie Capone, Glenda Lipinsky. Sixth Distict President led the Installation.
